Peanut Brittle

brittle full sizeIngredients needed
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup white syrup
1/4 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups raw peanuts
1 teaspoon soda

Directions
Bring sugar, butter, syrup & vanilla to a boil (220 degrees)
Add peanuts (raise heat to 240 degrees)
Cook to hard boil (raise heat to 300 degrees)
Add 1 teaspoon soda
Pour onto greased plate
